Angela Akins Garcia has been together with Sergio Garcia, since 29 July 2017. Angela Akins Garcia's passion for sport is overwhelming, particularly when you consider the common belief that women aren't a fan of sports. The fact that she was born into a sports-oriented family might have contributed to her decision to become an athlete, or maybe she's just interested in sport by nature. Her accomplishments have been impressive as a sportperson, and is now working as a Fox sports journalist. However she is better known for her role as the spouse of famous golfer Sergio Garcia. Angela Akins Garcia was basically obscure prior to her wedding to the sports star thrust her into the spotlight, therefore, there is a lack of information on the life events that took place before she was married to the pro golfer. While it's been proven her birth date in 1985, the exact month and day she was born are still unknown to the press. Angela Akins Gracia became interested in sport when she was in her teens and was able to play golf. She then took a few lessons on how to play golf and learning the techniques needed to make a strong yet calm swing. As time passed, she was able to master the swing, winning over 8 competitions during her highschool years. In her time as the captain of the Mable Falls high school's golf team Garcia was able to lead her team to 3rd position in the 2003 regional competition and they subsequently came with a sixth-place finish in the 2006 competition. It is no doubt that the lady is quite skilled at the game and has claimed over 17 medals to her name on the national level and she is an active member of the Ladies Texas Golf Association. Garcia studied at Texas Christain University after graduating from high school, for a period of three years before transferring to University of Texas. While at the university she was given the chance to play on a bigger size and develop her abilities with time. Angela Akin Garcia, despite the fact she found happiness and fulfillment as a professional golfer, had no intention of going into the profession. She instead pursued journalism. When she graduated from school, she got a job as a reporter at Fox Sports Southwest.
